We also have the mons pubis, which is the top area here and then we’re gonna zoom in a little bit and go over the clitoral area. So here is where our clitoris is located. Above the clitoris is going to be our clitoral hood am gonna zoom in a little bit there for you guys. So just kind of the tissue here that’s surrounding the clitoris, is considered your clitoral hood. We’ll also kind of discuss labiaplasty in general and what can be reduced at the time of your labiaplasty. So again here with this photo, we can see here that this is the photo of the enlarge labia minora, pictured on this side is gonna be kind of your results after the reduction of your labia minora. At the time of labiaplasty, your labia minora can be reduced. You can also have reduction of your labia majora and you can also have the mons pubis also reduced as well. Things can get a little confusing when considering clitoropexy, some people think that we operate on the clitoris itself. Not all patients do require a clitoral hood reduction. Also just some things to consider after your labiaplasty is you will experience some bruising and some swelling is also normal. The amount of swelling and bruising kinda depends on the patient. We do have some great before and after photos on our website you can take a look at. Also we have a area that you can look at some healing process photos as well if you are interested in looking at that, that can kinda give you a little an idea of how things can look through the healing process.
