The Comfort of Confidence

If you’re one of many women who have noticed or experienced clitoral enlargement, don’t worry: you’re not alone. Clitoral enlargement affects many women and, regardless of the cause, at Austin Labiaplasty and Vaginal Rejuvenation we can help find a solution for you.

Clitoropexy

Clitoropexy is a procedure that is used to lift and reduce the clitoris for women who have a large, protruding, or drooping clitoris. By placing sutures in the tissue around the clitoris we are able to reduce the bulging clitoral tissue without removing or affecting the erectile tissue itself.

Clitoral enlargement can occur as a result of natural causes, but it can also occur as a result of taking certain medications. Patients who are on testosterone therapy can experience increasing clitoral enlargement. This is due to the fact that the clitoris is made of erectile tissue which is directly affected by this hormone. Patients who are on testosterone therapy may need to see their hormone specialist prior to proceeding with surgery.
