How Does a Labiaplasty Revision Work?
Your journey begins with an in-office consultation where Dr. Shashoua evaluates your unique anatomy, discusses your goals, and creates a personalized surgical plan.
On procedure day, Dr. Shashoua uses precise techniques under local anesthesia or sedation to gently trim excess tissue, carefully contouring the labia and clitoral hood while protecting nerve sensitivity.
Before surgery, pain management medications are taken, followed by a patient-controlled inhaled analgesic and topical numbing. Dr. Shashoua utilizes precise trimming techniques to reduce thickened skin and a delicate wedge technique for clitoral hood reduction to ensure a smooth transition. If needed, a clitoropexy lifts and reduces a bulging clitoris.
Afterward, patients should plan for about one week off work to rest and recover comfortably.
All of these procedures are performed in our office surgical suite under oral and local sedation.
