During this visit the doctor will do a pelvic exam to note the degree of looseness and to determine if prolapse is present and contributing to these symptoms. Because this surgery is done under anesthesia, your MD can also treat any symptoms of stress incontinence that you may have at the same time. Full recovery from this type of procedure typically takes 6 weeks.

Laser vaginal rejuvenation is used to treat mild symptoms and can be completed in the office in less than 10 minutes, with minimal downtime. Most women will notice some improvement after one treatment, but significant changes after a series of three treatments.
