Traveling to Austin for Labiaplasty: Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi

In addition to providing labiaplasty services to women in Austin and its surrounding suburbs, we see many patients who come from out of town for their procedure. It is common for women to travel from cities around Texas and even from other states for a labiaplasty due to the wide variations in the cost of a labiaplasty from practice to practice.

Women often choose to undergo surgery with Dr. George Shashoua based on his expertise, experience, technical skills, competitive pricing, and – most of all – his reviews. Our patients come from a wide geographical area including Kyle, San Marcos, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Laredo, Corpus Christi, Victoria, McAllen, Temple, Waco, Salado, Kerrville, Houston, and Dallas Fort Worth. We have had patients fly in from out of state as well. At times, we are able to obtain a phone history and evaluate the labia by a photo image allowing greater ease of scheduling. We have a secure dropbox in which we are able to view uploaded images for medical evaluation either before or after labiaplasty surgery. This allows for quicker response times in both scheduling and in managing any post-operative questions or concerns that may arise while patients are away from the clinic or out of town.

When people travel to our office for surgery, it is recommended they have a trusted friend or loved one with them to help on the day of surgery and during the immediate post-operative period. When traveling for more than two hours, one may elect to stay in a hotel on the night of the procedure allowing for a comfortable post-operative trip home. We typically see our patients 2 weeks and 6 weeks following surgery. We may alter exam scheduling based on patients ability to travel or if there is a need to be seen earlier. As previously mentioned, at times we are able to manage patient issues by phone and with the use of images submitted to our secure dropbox. We look forward to working with you!
